King Arthur Flour recipe. Just as it sounds, it's an apple caramel candy. They also describe a variation for apple cider caramel sauce - again, just like it sounds, caramel sauce that's apple flavored. That could be useful.
The recipe requies an ingredient called "boiled cider". This is a product they sell, outsourced from an orchard, and they recommend it for apple recipes (pies, cakes, breads, etc) to bump up the apple flavor.
