Chili Crisp Dumplings

Found online. It looks really good. Click here for a video.

Chili crisp is a hot (pun intended) condiment right now, people dump it on everything. The most popular pre-made one is Laoganma (available on Amazon) which basically has a cult following. However, many people praise (or practically worship) a recipe from Serious Eats, saying it's even better. Click here for the recipe. The recipe is at least a full afternoon of work and would require ordering some ingredients but people are fanatics over it, it might be worth doing someday.

Ingredients

750g ground meat
1/2 onion,chopped
2 tbsp soy sauce
2 tbsp oyster sauce
2 tbsp ginger garlic paste
1 tbsp white pepper
1 tbsp black pepper
2 tbsp chili crisp

Instructions

Combine the meat mixture and add about a tbsp of it to your dumpling wrappers. I like to cook it by adding some oil to a pan, adding the dumplings, and covering it with water so they get steamed with a crispy bottom! Sprinkle with Chili Crisp.
